Café Life stores your café on your own device. It has no game account, no advertising and no gameplay analytics, and it never uploads your café to us. The one connection it can make is an optional, one-time purchase that Apple handles. This page explains each part in full.

Who operates the app

Café Life is operated by Barmajja for Information Technology Consultants Co. L.L.C, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy questions go to info@barmajja.com.

This policy covers the app and these pages. The app is in development and is distributed for testing; it is not publicly released.

Your café is saved on your device

Café Life stores your café progress on your device. You can export a save file and choose where to keep or share it. We do not operate a game account service, send gameplay analytics, display advertisements or upload your café saves to our servers.

When you choose a save through the system file picker, Café Life reads it locally for your review before restoring it. Export and sharing happen only when you choose them. Temporary copies in the app’s cache are cleaned up; your original file is not deleted.

The free year, and the one-time purchase

The game includes a free first in-game year and an optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full game. Apple handles product information, payment, purchase restoration and verification through the App Store. These purchase services may require an internet connection and are governed by Apple’s privacy practices. Café Life does not receive your payment-card details. The app uses verified purchase information to decide whether full-game access is available.

There is no subscription, no currency bought with real money and no advertising. The purchase arrives with version 1.1 of the app; earlier test builds contain no purchase and connect to nothing at all.

When the app connects, and when it does not

The café simulation, artwork, music and game content are included in the app. Once full-game ownership is verified on the device, ordinary gameplay does not require a connection. Restoring a purchase on another device or after reinstalling may require connecting to Apple. Restoring the purchase restores access; moving your café progress needs its save file or an available device backup.

The game itself makes no network requests. This is checked before every build we distribute: an automated release check loads the packaged game, records every request it attempts, and refuses the build if there is a single one. The purchase and restore requests go through Apple’s StoreKit, outside the game, and carry nothing about your café.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. It has no sign-up, no profile, no chat, no user-generated content that anyone else can see, and no way to contact another player. The optional purchase goes through Apple, where family controls such as Ask to Buy apply.

If you contact us

If you email us we receive your address, your message and anything you choose to attach, and we use them to answer and investigate. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.

Support mail is handled in Microsoft 365. We keep support messages for 24 months, then delete them.

These pages

These pages contain no analytics script, advertising pixel, account system or contact form, and their HTML and CSS set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.

They are hosted on GitHub Pages, which may process IP addresses and technical request logs to serve and protect the site; see GitHub’s privacy statement. They also load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and those servers receive the connection’s IP address and ordinary request information; see Google Fonts and privacy. Neither applies to the app, which carries its typefaces inside the download.

Retention, and your choices

• Your café stays in app storage on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can remove local game progress, so keep an exported copy of any café you want to preserve. Device backups and offloading may keep copies according to your settings.
• We hold no game data at all, so there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete, and no request you need to make to us about it.
• Purchases are Apple’s records. Removing the app does not erase a purchase; restore it with the same Apple Account.
• Support messages: write to the address above for access, correction or deletion of what you sent us.
• Provider data: Apple, GitHub and Google describe their own handling and retention in the policies linked above. We cannot delete records they hold independently of us.

Changes to this policy

When the app’s data practices change, this page is updated with a new effective date and an explanation of what changed.

• 19 September 2026. Describes the optional one-time purchase handled by Apple, and choosing, exporting and restoring save files. The previous version (17 September 2026) stated that the app had no purchases and made no network connection of any kind; that remains true of test builds before version 1.1.
